Who we are

This site is run by Yoav Uziel Tours, private guided jeep tours. The party responsible for the information: [name and business ID].

What information we collect

• Inquiry forms: name, phone, email (optional), the tour, preferred date, number of people, company or organization (optional), the free-text message you write, the page you wrote from, and the address of the page you came to the site from (if any). If you arrived from a tagged link, the campaign details in the link are saved as well.
• Review form: name, where you are from (optional), the tour, the month you traveled, a star rating, the text of your review and contact details (optional). Contact details are never published. A review is published only with your permission and only after Yoav has approved it.
• WhatsApp and phone calls: what you write or tell us is kept as you gave it. WhatsApp messages also pass through that service, which we do not control.
• Button clicks: a click on WhatsApp, phone, email or share is saved as an anonymous event: the type of click, the page, the language, the button's position and the campaign source, if any. No IP address, user agent or cookies are stored.
• Spam protection: to limit repeated form submissions we keep, for a short time, a salted hash of your IP address. The address cannot be recovered from it.
• Page-view measurement: the site uses Vercel Analytics, which according to Vercel works without cookies and without a personal identifier of the visitor.
• Measurement and advertising (only if enabled): if we switch on Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta Pixel on the site, it will show a cookie consent banner. These services load only if you accept. Only then do they store cookies in your browser and receive information about how you use the site. If you do not accept, or while they are switched off, none of this loads. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the site.
• Browser storage: the site keeps a small amount of technical information in your browser: the campaign details of the link you came through and the address of the page you came to the site from (if any), for the length of your visit, and a note that you dismissed the suggestion to switch language. If the cookie banner is switched on, your choice in it is stored there as well. It holds no personal information.

Why we use the information

• To get back to you about your tour, arrange it and issue an invoice.
• To publish a review, with your permission.
• To understand which pages and buttons help visitors.
• If measurement and advertising services are switched on, and only with your permission: to measure visits and see which ads bring inquiries.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.

We do not send marketing email. Giving your details in the forms is voluntary, but without a name and a phone number we cannot get back to you through the form. You can also contact us by WhatsApp or phone.

Who receives or processes the information

• Vercel: hosting the site, page-view measurement and photo storage.
• Google and Meta (only if enabled, and only with your permission): measuring visits and advertising, through Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel.
• Neon: the database where inquiries and reviews are kept.
• Resend: sending us email notices about new inquiries and reviews.
• Anthropic: translating the site's content only. No inquiry or review details are sent to it.

We do not sell information and do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it. Some of these providers may process information on servers outside Israel.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept for [retention period] from the day of the inquiry. A published review is kept for as long as it appears on the site. Anonymous click events are kept for [retention period].

Your rights

Under the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13, you may ask to see the information kept about you, ask to correct it and ask to delete it. To exercise a right, write to us in one of the ways below.

Security

We protect the information with reasonable measures: the site runs over an encrypted connection, and administrator access to inquiries is password protected.
